Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DMARC Autopilot at dmarcautopilot.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DMARC Autopilot provides a free email authentication compliance scanner and a premium domain monitoring and enforcement guidance product. The Service allows you to check DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, BIMI, MTA-STS), receive compliance scores, monitor domains for changes, and analyze DMARC aggregate reports.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of any organization you represent.

4. Free and Premium Tiers

4.1 Free tier

The free domain scanner is available without registration. You may perform up to 10 scans per minute per IP address. Results are provided for informational purposes only.

4.2 Premium tier

Premium features (multi-domain monitoring, daily scans, DMARC report analysis, enforcement guidance) require a registered account. Billing terms, if applicable, will be presented at checkout and form part of these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to scan domains you do not own or have explicit permission to scan
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits through proxies, VPNs, or other means for abusive purposes
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-scan domains in a manner that degrades service for others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or other malicious code
  • Impersonate any person or entity

6. DNS Scanning and Data

Our scanner performs DNS lookups on domains you specify. These lookups are read-only queries to public DNS infrastructure. By scanning a domain, you confirm you are authorized to do so. We are not responsible for the accuracy of DNS records or for actions you take based on scan results.

Scan results are provided "as is." DNS propagation delays, caching, and provider-specific behavior may affect results. Always verify changes with your DNS provider before considering an issue resolved.

7. AI-Guided Fix Recommendations

AI-generated fix recommendations are provided for informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for qualified IT or security professional advice. We make no warranty that following AI recommendations will achieve compliance with any particular standard, requirement, or regulation.

8. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Magic link emails expire after 15 minutes and are single-use. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by DMARC Autopilot and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

You retain ownership of the domain names and DMARC report data you provide to the Service. By uploading DMARC report data, you grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DNS CHECK RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DMARC AUTOPILOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which DMARC Autopilot operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
